Ordering

Dahlia tuber sales will go live in mid-March 2024. Sign up for our newsletter to be kept in the loop! When ordering, note that having items in your cart does not reserve that item. You must check out completely to finalize your order. Following your check out you will receive email confirmation of your order.

Washington State residents will be charged for sales tax at checkout.

Credit cards will be accepted as payment methods.

Shipping

We will ship tubers starting the first of April 2024* when there is no risk of frost. Tubers will be shipped USPS Priority Mail.

If we are able to combine shipping we will. Refunds will be provided appropriately. We do not ship outside of the U.S..

What Will You Receive?

You will receive a single division tuber with at least one viable eye of the variety you purchased.

Substitutes: In the event that a purchased tuber is not viable at the time of shipping, that tuber will be refunded. Substitute tubers will not be given.

Dahlia Tuber Guarantee

We guarantee that our product will grow healthy and true to variety. We do our best to utilize organic practices and grow quality dahlias. Dahlias are living plants and have the potential for issues. We will do our best that you are satisfied with our product. Our farm has been inspected for plant health and approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Kale Lane Dahlias can not be held responsible for tuber loss due to extreme weather/growing conditions and other external damage.

Terms and Conditions:

Please contact us within one week of receiving your shipment, should there be any immediate concerns. When reaching out provide an order number, pictures and an explanation of the concern.

Dahlia tubers come in all shapes and sizes. Tubers may take 4-6 weeks to grow above the soil. Allow dahlias adequate time before reaching out concerned that your dahlia is not growing. Prematurely checking tubers may impact overall health and growth.

Refunds: If possible, a replacement tuber will be sent the current growing season or the following growing season. If a replacement tuber is not an option a refund will be given.

Any refund requests regarding tuber failure or mislabel should happen before August 1.

In the event of a tuber refund, only the cost of the tuber will be returned, not including shipping.

Virus Protocol

Our dahlias are not individually tested to be proven free of virus. We aggressively cull any dahlias whose foliage shows signs and symptoms of virus. Further, our agriculture specialist throughly inspects our field and will test and/or cull any suspect plants. We will only grow plants with robust healthy foliage and growing habits.

We use a +10% bleach solution on our tools between plants at all stages of the growing and storing season to help reduce the spread of disease.

Refunds due to suspected virus: We will approach refunds on a case by case basis. It is very difficult to identify where a plant was infected. It is not practical for us to refund your dahlia purchase based off of a feeling your plant is infected. If the variety(s) is looking healthy in my garden, I do not anticipate a refund. If you suspect that a dahlia you purchased from us may be virused, please contact us immediately.

Is your farm open to the public?

Currently, our farm is not open to the public. Please contact us directly if you need to pick up an order.
